Although women in the Arab world have remained marginalized for centuries, the extent of marginalization has been growing progressively thinner in most Arabic societies. There is a wide diversity of ideas as to the severity of marginalization of women in the development process of the wider Arab society. By acknowledging the ldblquote research, analysis, and policy recommendationsrdblquote  which have gone into the production of this report, before proceeding to single out areas of the report which require a critical look, the analysis comes across as scholarly and professional (Abu-Lughod, Adely  Hasso 59). An interesting lesson from this article is that the difference between the way western scholars view the issue of gender equality and inclusiveness in development in the Middle East is so wide that choice of words used in the title of the report had to be crafted to avoid bias (Abu-Lughod, Adely  Hasso 59). This could imply that the nature and magnitude of the problem changes depending on who is discussing it.par
